About Rachel
Rachel Sellem grew up in a family of makers - artists, musicians, knitters, gardeners, tailors, shoemakers and chefs so making has always come naturally to her. She began experimenting with ceramics whilst studying Fine Arts at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy but she describes her practice as continually evolving - in time everything got interwoven, and is still being woven. Rachel lives and works in Amsterdam. She runs pottery classes and curates pop ups with Komok (where we first discovered Rachel's work!) @rachelsellem
